Washed in with the tide
Director Ben Brown

This animated film was directed by Ben Brown - a long term artistic contributor to 'Sons of Alpha Centauri' and a 3D designer in graphics and animation. The soundtrack, sampling and sound effect sequences were composed by 'Sons of Alpha Centauri' and the video is linked to the conceptual and visual media featured on the debut album.

Inspired by the haunting Red Sand WWII Maunsell Sea Forts that are located off the Kent coast this film was premiered at the London School of Arts where it was nominated for 'Best Film' at the Reveal Art Festival in July 2007.

Last Day of Summer Trailer
Released August 2009

Last Day of Summer is the new album split from Sons of Alpha Centauri/Treasure Cat and will be available to buy from 23/08/2009. The album features tracks from Will Mecum's (Karma To Burn) new band "Treasure Cat", new tracks from "Sons of Alpha Centauri" plus tracks of the two bands combined.

Video footage taken while making the new Yawning Sons album - Ceremony to the Sunset. Due for Release 15th June 2009 on Lexicon Devil Records.

Yawning Sons is a new project merging the sounds of Gary Arce(Yawning Man) with UK Band Sons of Alpha Centauri. The Album also features vocals from Mario Lalli (Fatso Jetson), Scott Reeder (Kyuss) and Wendy Rae Fowler(QOTSA/Mark Lanegan Band).
